Christopher deCharms (Ted Talk 7)

I watched Christopher deCharms ted talk about getting inside the human brain. I took away a lot from this video. The main thing that I took away was that there is now a way to control your brain. This is done through a process similar to an MRI. From there, you can control which parts of your body hurt based on which parts of your brain you use. deCharms had several techniques he used while speaking. One of those was that he was monotone throughout the entire thing, He never changed his voice oncE. I personally did not like that because it got boring and was hard to follow after a while. He also had a couple presentation techniques. The main technique he used was that he show and demonstrated this process. He had the visual of the brain, and a man control which parts of his body hurt. He demonstrated how he got inside the man's head. This video relates to me personally because I have a brain abnormality. So, if this video is true and this process takes off, then I could possibly take away the pain i have in my head. I could also be able to change the reactions of abnormality. This video relates to education a little bit. It relates to education because this process could potentially be able to help students learn, or learn why they have trouble learning. This video also relates to the world because it is a huge accomplishment. This could change the way the world, medical departments, and science work. This video was really really unique and cool. I think that deCharms did an excellent job!
